Contemporary capitalism loves colonising our imagination. It quietly redraws the borders of what feels possible, whispering that every dream should become a project, every passion a side hustle, every rebellion a brand.
Thankfully, the weird and the eerie keep trespassing. They arrive like little glitches in the script, reminding us that reality is stranger than capitalism would have us believe. Other ways of living have not vanished, they've simply been buried, forgotten, or declared impossible. The strange unsettles what feels fixed, opening tiny cracks through which neglected futures can breathe again.
So, let's cultivate the strange and get out hands dirty.

Elina (she/her) is a Belgian ceramicist living in Berlin. She creates sculptures that linger somewhere between the grotesque, the poetic, and the absurd. Drawing inspiration from political and philosophical thought, her practice translates complex ideas into playful, tactile encounters.
Through strange creatures, engraved words, whispered thoughts, and uncanny forms, her work invites viewers to loosen their grip on the familiar. By gently unsettling the boundaries of what is considered "normal," she hopes to reveal that the unfamiliar is not something to fear, but a space where curiosity, tenderness, and new possibilities can emerge.
